Making a Pledge

An essential part of membership is making a pledge of financial support.  This lets the congregation forecast its income, and is also a powerful, personal symbol of your commitment.  How much should you give?  We ask households to pledge 2-4% of their adjusted gross incomes.  That's $400-$800 per year for a household with an adjusted gross income of $20,000, or $4,000-$8,000 per year for a household with an income of $200,000.  Depending on their situation, some members must give less, while others are able to give more.  The important thing is to have a pledge you can be proud of, because you know you are doing your fair share for your spiritual home.  You may pay your pledge weekly, monthly, quarterly or once per year — whatever best suits your budget.

In addition to making a pledge...

You can make a contribution to Central Unitarian Church's Endowment Trust Fund, which provides lasting support for our programs and activities.  Click here to learn more.

You can support Central Unitarian Church while you make purchases from Amazon.com!  Amazon.com gives our congregation a portion of the purchase price of the items purchased through this link. Simply click here to start your search of the many products available through Amazon.com while making a cost-free contribution to the congregation.

Or buy shopping certificates in the rear of the sanctuary any Sunday.  A portion of the purchase will go toward supporting the congregation.
