Spiritual Growth in a Diverse Community Minimize

HansWormser-MaxCalabro2-FL.gifCentral Uunitarian Church is a community in which long-held religious values are respected and new truths arrived at and shared with like-minded people. We offer a gathering place for people of all religious backgrounds who are actively searching for spiritual nourishment. CUC gives us inspiration for living a life guided by our most cherished values. We welcome and embrace differing interpretations and religious world views. The result is we can each shape a personal spiritual view that will strengthen us individually throughout life.

Our members find ways of being together in joy and sorrow, in play and work. We appreciate the value of pastoral care for one another. We forge lifelong friendships by being in action with one another. We value our diversity of cultural, faith and ethnic backgrounds. We are a Welcoming Congregation to the gay community and actively support the GLBT movement.

SpringFling-FR.gifWe have fun together in all-church gatherings, small group functions, informal coffee hours and events offered by our members through our annual service auction. We foster youth and young adult programs that encourage involvement and commitment to Unitarian Universalist principles in general and to Central Unitarian Church in particular.

We forge personal connections in a spiritual atmosphere by participating in Covenant Circles: small groups of members who meet monthly to discuss the major issues of life, love, loss, growth and gratitude.

Musical events including chamber music and folk concerts are a staple at our congregation, and music forms an integral part of our Sunday Services.
